General Psychiatry Residency Program

• Must possess an MD or equivalent medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Must have completed medical school training with required clinical experience
• Must pass required USMLE examinations (Step 1 and Step 2 CK)
• ECFMG certification is required for International Medical Graduates (IMGs)
• Must be eligible for U.S. medical licensure and residency training requirements
• Strong academic background, clinical skills, and interest in psychiatry
• Submission of required application materials, including letters of recommendation and personal statement
• Must meet visa requirements (if applicable) for participation in the residency program

The General Psychiatry Residency Program at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is a comprehensive 4-year residency training program designed to prepare physicians for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
