The Dermatology Residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a three-year specialty training program beginning at PGY-2, following completion of a preliminary or transitional year. The program provides comprehensive training in medical and procedural dermatology, with clinical exposure to adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatopathology, complex medical dermatology, surgical and procedural dermatology, and subspecialty care. Residents also participate in Grand Rounds, didactic lectures, journal clubs, textbook reviews, research, and hands-on procedural training across multiple affiliated clinical sites.
