The Adult Neurology Residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School provides comprehensive training in clinical neurology through inpatient and outpatient experiences across multiple training sites. Residents receive progressive responsibility in general neurology, stroke, neurocritical care, EEG, EMG, child neurology, and neurology subspecialty clinics. The curriculum includes a dedicated PGY-2 EEG course, EMG training, electives, quality improvement, teaching, and research opportunities. Residents can also pursue specialized tracks such as the Neurology Educator Track (NET) and SPRINT research pathway.
