The Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship is a 2-year ACGME-accredited fellowship designed to provide advanced training in all aspects of cardiac electrophysiology. Fellows develop the skills needed to become competent and independent clinical electrophysiologists through exposure to a wide range of cardiac arrhythmias, invasive electrophysiology procedures, and clinical decision-making. Training includes daily case discussions with EP faculty, diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, outpatient consultations, patient follow-ups, and management of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs). The program also emphasizes academic electrophysiology, research, and teaching, preparing fellows for careers in clinical medicine, research, or academic leadership. Training occurs at University of Colorado Hospital, Rocky Mountain Regional VA, and Denver Health.
