Fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electro Physiology

• The candidate who has passed Post D.M/ DNB in Cardiology shall be eligible for the course.
• Sponsored Candidates are also eligible to apply.

Course contents:

1. Anatomy/ Physiology of Heart
2. Clinical Electrophysiology
3. Holter analysis/Tilt table test
4. Device implantation including pacemakers, Defibrillator & Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT)
5. Programming & follow up of Devices
6. Conventional Electrophysiology study and interpretation of Intra-cardiac ECGs.
7. Hands on training in Electrophysiology study & RF ablation of common arrhythmias.
8. 3D Mapping & RF ablation of complex arrhythmias, theory and practice.
9. Attending courses conducted on Electrophysiology in other institutions.
10. Clinical research work related to Electrophysiology study and devices.

Training includes:

1. Subject seminars/ Journal club
2. Conference presentation/ Symposium
3. Clinical discussion/ Case presentations
4. Lecturers/ Exposure to Cath Lab and OT
5. Routine work and duties of hospital
6. Training in All aspects of Cardiac Electrophysiology
7. Six months internal assessment
8. Final certifying examination (Clinical and Practical)
