The UCSF Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship is a 2-year ACGME-accredited advanced subspecialty training program designed for cardiologists who wish to develop expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders. The program provides comprehensive clinical training in arrhythmia evaluation and management, including inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology consultations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, invasive electrophysiology studies, and catheter ablation procedures for both simple and complex arrhythmias such as supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, and ventricular tachycardia. Fellows also receive dedicated research opportunities in clinical, translational, basic science, and epidemiological areas under expert faculty mentorship, preparing them for careers as leaders in cardiac electrophysiology.
