Fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electro Physiology

• Must hold an MD, DO, or an equivalent medical degree.
• Must have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship before the fellowship start date.
• Must be eligible for medical licensure in the United States.
• International Medical Graduates (IMGs) are eligible to apply and must meet the institution's visa requirements.
• The program accepts applicants requiring J-1 ECFMG or H-1B visas.
• Applicants must apply through ERAS and participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

The Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (CCEP) Training Program at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (JHUSOM) is a two-year ACGME-accredited fellowship that provides advanced training in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cardiac rhythm disorders. Fellows gain extensive hands-on experience in invasive and non-invasive electrophysiologic procedures, including catheter ablation, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation and management, cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), lead extraction, and left atrial appendage closure. The program combines high-volume clinical exposure, multidisciplinary patient care, structured didactic education, and mentored research opportunities, preparing graduates for leadership roles in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, academic medicine, and cardiovascular research.
