PG in MD, MS (Ayurveda) Rognidan and Vikriti Vigyan

• Must be an Indian citizen
• Must have a BAMS degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university approved by NCISM
• Must have completed 1-year compulsory rotating internship before the cutoff date
• Must be registered with a State Ayurvedic/Medical Council (or obtain registration within the given time)
• Must qualify the AIAPGET entrance exam
• Minimum qualifying percentile in AIAPGET:
• General: 50th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile
• No upper age limit for admission/entrance exam

(For In-Service Candidates – if applicable)

• Must have minimum required government service (e.g., 5 years)
• Must provide No Objection Certificate (NOC) from employer

The MD (Ayurveda) – Rognidan & Vikriti Vigyan at Rajiv Gandhi Government Post Graduate Ayurvedic College is a 3-year postgraduate program that focuses on the diagnosis and pathological understanding of diseases in Ayurveda. This specialization forms the foundation of all clinical branches, as it deals with identifying the causes (Nidana), pathogenesis (Samprapti), symptoms (Lakshana), and prognosis of diseases using classical Ayurvedic principles along with modern diagnostic methods.

The course trains students to become skilled diagnosticians by integrating traditional clinical examination techniques (like Rogi Pariksha and Nidana Panchaka) with modern laboratory investigations such as blood, urine, and other pathological tests. Through clinical postings, case studies, and research work, students gain hands-on experience in analyzing disease conditions and making accurate diagnoses.
