The MD (Ayurveda) in Panchakarma at Rajiv Gandhi Government Post Graduate Ayurvedic College, Paprola is a 3-year postgraduate program focused on the specialized Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation therapies known as Panchakarma. The course trains students in classical procedures like Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana, along with pre- and post-therapy care. It includes a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical training, and clinical exposure in hospital settings, where students gain hands-on experience in treating chronic and lifestyle disorders through purification therapies. The college has well-established PG departments and a teaching hospital that supports clinical learning and research activities in Panchakarma.
