• Hold a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree from a recognized university.
• Have completed the mandatory one-year rotatory internship.
• Possess permanent/provisional registration with the NCISM/State Ayurvedic Medical Council.
• Qualify in the AIAPGET with a valid score.

The MD (Ayurveda) Panchakarma at Government Ayurvedic Medical College (GAMC), Bengaluru is a 3-year postgraduate program that provides advanced training in the principles and practice of Panchakarma, the Ayurvedic system of detoxification and rejuvenation therapies. The curriculum covers the theoretical foundations and clinical application of Panchakarma procedures, disease management, preventive healthcare, rehabilitation, and research. Students receive hands-on clinical training in therapies such as Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana, along with patient assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based Ayurvedic practice, preparing them for careers in clinical practice, academics, research, and wellness healthcare.
