• Must have a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) degree from a recognized university/NCISM-approved institution
• Should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in BAMS (relaxation for reserved categories as per rules)
• Completion of 1-year compulsory rotatory internship is mandatory
• Must be registered with State/Central Council (NCISM/CCIM)
• Must qualify AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test)
• Candidate should meet counselling and admission requirements set by AYUSH/State authorities

The course provides a balanced blend of theoretical learning, clinical training, and research, where students gain hands-on experience in OPD/IPD settings, Panchakarma therapies, herbal treatments, and lifestyle-based disease management. Trainees actively participate in patient care, academic activities, and dissertation work, developing expertise in treating chronic and lifestyle disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, and digestive diseases using Ayurvedic approaches, ultimately preparing them for roles as clinicians, academicians, and researchers in Ayurveda.
