Neonatal Perinatal Medicine Fellowship

• MD / DO / MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency or Internal Medicine–Pediatrics Residency program
• Candidates must be eligible for Pediatrics board certification/eligibility
• International Medical Graduates (IMGs) must meet U.S. training and certification requirements (including applicable ECFMG certification requirements)
• Eligible for medical licensure in the United States
• Strong interest in neonatal intensive care, newborn medicine, clinical research, and academic pediatrics
• Submission of required application materials including CV, personal statement, and letters of recommendation
• Applicants must apply through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) and participate in the Pediatric Subspecialty Match (NRMP) process

The Neonatal–Perinatal Medicine Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is a 3-year specialized fellowship program designed to train physicians in the advanced care of critically ill newborns, premature infants, and high-risk pregnancies. The program provides comprehensive clinical training in neonatal intensive care, fetal and neonatal physiology, neonatal procedures, prenatal care, and long-term follow-up of high-risk infants. Fellows receive hands-on experience in a high-acuity NICU environment along with opportunities for clinical research, teaching, and academic development, preparing them for careers as expert neonatologists, physician-scientists, and leaders in neonatal medicine.
