Fellows receive an annual base stipend according to the University of Colorado Anschutz GME stipend scale, with the amount determined by PGY/training year.

The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship provides comprehensive clinical and didactic training across all major areas of contemporary cardiovascular medicine, including adult cardiology, coronary care, electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, advanced heart failure and transplantation, vascular medicine, cardiac MRI/CT, pulmonary hypertension, preventive cardiology, and cardiac rehabilitation. Fellows gain inpatient and outpatient experience, participate in cardiac imaging and catheterization training, and undertake self-directed research rotations. The program also includes dedicated academic days, simulation-based procedural training, case conferences, ECG and echocardiography conferences, and morbidity and mortality discussions to develop clinical, procedural, research, teaching, and leadership skills.
