Residents receive annual stipends according to postgraduate year (PGY) level under NYU Langone Health Graduate Medical Education policies.

Complete an MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized medical school.
Complete or arrange completion of an approved PGY-1 internship year.
Register through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service).
Submit required documents:
Register with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
Applications are reviewed by the PM&R Residency Selection Committee.
Selected candidates receive interview invitations.
Attend residency interviews (currently conducted virtually for many admission cycles).
Applicants are ranked through the NRMP Match process.
Matched candidates complete onboarding requirements and begin residency training in July.
