The Pediatrics Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Memphis, provides comprehensive training in the care of infants, children, and adolescents across inpatient and outpatient settings. Residents gain experience in general pediatrics, newborn care, pediatric emergency medicine, intensive care, and multiple pediatric subspecialties. Training is provided through UTHSC-affiliated hospitals and clinical sites, with opportunities for research, quality improvement, teaching, and community-based care. The program prepares residents for independent pediatric practice or further subspecialty fellowship training.
