Overview
The Pediatric Residency Program is a 3-year, ACGME-accredited residency program designed to provide comprehensive training in general pediatrics and pediatric subspecialty care. The program offers extensive clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, neonatal care, pediatric intensive care, emergency medicine, and ambulatory care. Residents receive training through rotations at affiliated hospitals and clinical sites, with opportunities in research, quality improvement, advocacy, medical education, and specialized pediatric tracks. The curriculum prepares graduates for independent pediatric practice and further fellowship training in pediatric subspecialties.

Residents receive an annual stipend ranging from USD 68,721.84 (PGY-1) to USD 79,433.64 (PGY-5), along with comprehensive GME benefits.

Eligibility
- Must have an MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Must submit a completed Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) application.
- Must provide Medical School Transcript and Dean’s Letter (MSPE).
- Must submit USMLE Step 1 (or COMLEX Level 1) score.
- Must submit USMLE Step 2 (or COMLEX Level 2) score, if available.
- Must provide a minimum of three Letters of Recommendation, including at least one letter from a pediatrician.
- International Medical Graduates (IMGs) must be ECFMG-certified before starting the residency.
- Candidates must meet the requirements for participation in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Admission Process:
- Submit an application through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
- Upload all required documents, including:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Personal Statement
- Medical School Transcript
- Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE/Dean’s Letter)
- USMLE/COMLEX score reports
- Minimum three Letters of Recommendation (including at least one from a pediatrician)
- International Medical Graduates (IMGs) must submit a valid ECFMG certification.
- The residency selection committee reviews applications based on academic performance, clinical experience, qualifications, and interest in pediatrics.
- Selected applicants are invited for interviews with the residency program.
- Final candidates are selected through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Match.
- Matched candidates complete onboarding requirements and begin the 3-year Pediatric Residency Program.
