The Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Memphis, provides five years of comprehensive training in the medical and surgical management of disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Residents gain clinical and operative experience in areas including head and neck oncology, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, otology and neurotology, pediatric Otolaryngology, rhinology and skull base surgery, laryngology, and sleep medicine and surgery. Training across multiple teaching hospitals provides exposure to diverse and complex cases, while structured teaching, research opportunities, and progressive surgical responsibility prepare residents for independent practice or further subspecialty training.
