Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program

1. Applicants must hold or be completing a medical degree from an eligible medical school.
2. A United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) transcript is required.
3. Medical school transcripts must be submitted.
4. At least three letters of recommendation from supervising physicians or researchers are required.
5. A Dean's Letter / Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) is required.
6. All required supporting documents must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) by the program's stated deadline.

Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center is a major teaching hospital affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). It provides advanced clinical training across multiple medical specialties and serves as a key training site for UCLA residency programs. The Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program provides comprehensive five-year training in the diagnosis and surgical management of disorders involving the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Residents receive experience in head and neck oncology, reconstructive surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, otology, rhinology, facial plastic surgery, laryngology, trauma, and microsurgery, along with research, teaching, conferences, and multidisciplinary patient care.

2. Upload the United States Medical Licensing Examination transcript, medical school transcripts, at least three recommendation letters, and Dean's Letter / Medical Student Performance Evaluation.
3. The program reviews applications after the stated application deadline.

5. Participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
6. Selected applicants enter the five-year Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program.
