The Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program at UAB Heersink School of Medicine provides comprehensive five-year training in the medical and surgical management of disorders involving the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Residents receive progressive clinical and operative experience in areas including general otolaryngology, head and neck oncology, endocrine surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, otology and neurotology, rhinology, laryngology, facial trauma, skull base surgery, and reconstructive surgery. The program also emphasizes research, academic development, multidisciplinary patient care, and extensive hands-on surgical training across UAB-affiliated clinical facilities.
