Overview

• Government Medical College, Ongole, established in 2008, operates under Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences and is approved by the NMC. The MD General Medicine program is part of its extensive MD/MS offering .
• The Department of General Medicine delivers comprehensive care through outpatient, inpatient, and emergency services. Faculty includes Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors dedicated to both clinical service and training .
• Clinical services emphasize thorough history taking, accurate diagnosis, effective treatment plans, and patient-centric follow-ups. The department actively engages in areas such as cardiovascular diagnostics, neuro-diagnostics, dengue fever research, community-acquired pneumonia tracking, and training in RNTCP DOTS programs.

MBBS degree recognized by NMC

One-year internship completed

Qualified in NEET-PG

Register for and participate in counselling via Dr. NTR UHS (State Quota) or Medical Counselling Committee (AIQ)

Document verification, including NEET scorecard, MBBS mark sheets, internship certificate, registration proofs, etc.
