The General Surgery Residency Program at UC Irvine School of Medicine is a comprehensive, structured postgraduate training program designed to develop highly skilled and competent surgeons. The program provides extensive training across all major areas of surgery, combining hands-on clinical experience with strong academic and research exposure. Residents are actively involved in patient care, operative procedures, emergency and trauma management, and gain progressive responsibility under expert faculty supervision.
