The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine provides comprehensive training in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases affecting children. Fellows gain experience in inpatient and outpatient consultation, antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, and the management of immunocompromised patients. The curriculum combines rigorous clinical training with dedicated research opportunities and scholarly activities. Fellows work closely with multidisciplinary teams and participate in teaching and quality improvement initiatives. Training at a leading children’s hospital ensures exposure to a broad spectrum of common and rare pediatric infections.
