The Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is a three-year program providing advanced training in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal, liver, nutritional, and related disorders in children and adolescents. Fellows gain comprehensive clinical experience through inpatient and outpatient services, with exposure to pediatric hepatology, nutrition, liver transplantation, pediatric surgery, radiology, pathology, and endoscopy. The program provides extensive training in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures and includes experience in both pediatric and adult endoscopy. Fellows also participate in research, teaching, scholarly activities, and multidisciplinary care, with dedicated research time throughout the fellowship.
