Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (FPEM)

The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at UCSF School of Medicine, San Francisco is an advanced subspecialty training program designed to prepare physicians for the evaluation and management of critically ill and injured children in emergency care settings. The fellowship provides comprehensive clinical training through UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland, with exposure to pediatric emergency medicine, trauma care, critical care, procedures, point-of-care ultrasound, simulation training, quality improvement, medical education, and research. Fellows participate in emergency department clinical services, teaching activities, scholarly projects, and leadership development to build expertise as pediatric emergency medicine clinicians, educators, and researchers.
