The Infectious Diseases Fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School is an ACGME-accredited program offering a 2-year Clinical Scholar Track and a 3-year Academic Research Track. Fellows receive comprehensive training in inpatient infectious disease consultation, outpatient ID care, transplant infectious diseases, HIV/ID, antimicrobial stewardship, hospital epidemiology, infection prevention, clinical microbiology, TB, travel medicine, and viral hepatitis. The program also provides opportunities for research, quality improvement, teaching, and specialized tracks in areas such as transplant ID, HIV/AIDS and community health, antimicrobial stewardship, and medical education.
