The Allergy & Immunology Fellowship Program at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is a two-year fellowship program offered jointly through the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics. The program provides comprehensive training in the diagnosis and management of allergic diseases and immune system disorders in both adult and pediatric patients. Fellows gain clinical experience through allergy and immunology clinics, inpatient consultations, and specialized procedures including skin testing, pulmonary function testing, bronchoprovocation testing, and IVIG therapy. The curriculum also includes evaluation of immunodeficiency disorders, asthma, food and drug allergies, allergic skin diseases, and immune-related conditions. Fellows participate in research activities, conferences, and academic teaching, preparing them for independent practice and board certification in Allergy & Immunology
