The Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Program at UNC School of Medicine (UNCSOM), Chapel Hill is an advanced subspecialty training program focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of allergic diseases, asthma, immune disorders, and immunologic conditions. The fellowship provides comprehensive clinical training in both adult and pediatric allergy and immunology, allowing fellows to develop expertise in conditions such as allergic rhinitis, asthma, food allergies, drug allergies, eczema, urticaria, anaphylaxis, autoimmune disorders, and primary immunodeficiency diseases. Fellows gain hands-on experience in allergy testing, immunologic evaluations, immunotherapy, and advanced treatment approaches through outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary care settings. The program emphasizes clinical excellence, research, teaching, and academic development, preparing graduates for careers as independent Allergy & Immunology specialists in academic medicine, clinical practice, and research.
