The Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at UC Irvine School of Medicine is a two-year ACGME-accredited fellowship program designed to provide advanced clinical and research training in the diagnosis and management of allergic and immunologic disorders. The program focuses on developing expertise in adult and pediatric allergy care, primary immunodeficiency diseases, autoimmune disorders, HIV-related immunologic conditions, and other complex immune disorders. Fellows receive comprehensive clinical training through outpatient allergy and immunology clinics, inpatient consultation services, and multidisciplinary care at UCI Medical Center and the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, with additional pediatric allergy and immunology exposure. The curriculum includes clinical rotations, weekly didactic sessions, case discussions, journal clubs, immunology conferences, and research activities. Fellows are encouraged to participate in clinical and laboratory research projects, preparing them for careers in academic medicine, clinical practice, and physician-scientist roles in Allergy and Immunology.
