The Family Medicine Residency Program at UMass Chan Medical School, Worcester is a 3-year, full-spectrum family medicine residency combining university-based education with community-based clinical training. Residents train at one of three health centers and provide longitudinal care to their own patient panels. Training covers primary and preventive care, inpatient medicine, pediatrics, women's health and maternity care, behavioral health, addiction medicine, urgent/emergency care, geriatrics and procedures. The program also offers individualized electives, quality improvement, research and academic development opportunities.
