The three-year dermatology training, following an internship year, includes experience in medical, surgical, pediatric and procedural dermatology, as well as dermatopathology and inpatient dermatology consultations. Residents develop skills in skin examinations, diagnostic procedures, biopsies, dermatologic surgery and management of complex dermatologic conditions. The program also includes didactic teaching, clinical conferences, case discussions, research and scholarly activities, preparing residents for independent dermatology practice or further subspecialty fellowship training.
