Residency in Integrated Interventional Radiology

The Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency Program provides comprehensive training in both Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology, preparing residents for board certification in both specialties. Residents gain extensive clinical and procedural experience in vascular, oncologic, hepatobiliary, dialysis, pain and palliative care, genitourinary, and gastrointestinal interventions, along with opportunities to develop skills in pediatric and neurointerventional procedures. The curriculum also includes multidisciplinary conferences, outpatient clinics, noninvasive vascular imaging, and clinical, translational, and basic-science research opportunities.

3. The program offers PGY-2 integrated Interventional Radiology positions beginning July 1
4. Complete the required one-year clinical internship before entering the IR residency
5. Applicants are selected based on their application, academic achievements, and personal interview
6. Final positions are filled through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP)
7. Applicants interested in both Diagnostic Radiology and Integrated Interventional Radiology must apply and interview separately for both programs
