The Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at UMass Chan Medical School is a 5-year residency providing comprehensive training in adult and pediatric orthopaedic surgery. Residents rotate through orthopaedic trauma, foot and ankle, hand, pediatrics, sports medicine, spine, joint reconstruction, musculoskeletal oncology, and shoulder and elbow. The curriculum combines hands-on clinical and surgical training with weekly basic and clinical science teaching, fracture conferences, anatomy laboratory sessions, Grand Rounds, journal club, indications conferences and interactive bioskills training.
