The Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship at UCSF School of Medicine, San Francisco is a three-year ACGME-accredited program that provides comprehensive training in the evaluation and management of acute and chronic respiratory disorders from birth through young adulthood. Fellows receive clinical experience in inpatient pulmonary consultation, outpatient continuity care, flexible bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing, sleep medicine, home ventilation, tracheostomy and respiratory care, cystic fibrosis, neuromuscular disease, and aerodigestive disorders. The program also emphasizes research, quality improvement, teaching, and academic development, with Years 2 and 3 providing dedicated opportunities for basic, clinical, translational, epidemiologic, and health-systems research.
