Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology and Transplantation

Candidates who have completed MD/ DNB (Pediatrics) will be eligible to apply for this course.

Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology and Pediatric Renal Transplantation course is a two year course. Students who have completed their MD/DNB in Pediatrics can apply for the course. We have two seats every year. With worldwide increasing knowledge about various renal disorders in children, special training is mandatory to achieve best patient care and outcome. With vision to provide specialty care to these children in remote and interior areas of country, main aim of this course is to provides basic as well as comprehensive training in field of Pediatric nephrology and pediatric renal transplantation. With adequate duration and extensive exposure, course provides best analytic training, maximum hands on training, and maximum exposure in field of pediatric renal transplantation. Department also conducts regular academic activities, interdepartmental activities and research training.

• All interested candidates having the eligibility criteria mentioned can download the Application Form from the website www.guts.ac.in. All the entries in the form should be clear, legible and correct. Please do not try to alter the form in any way. Candidates are advised to print the application form on one side of the paper only.
• The application must be accompanied with self-attested copies of all the required certificates. Candidates in-service must apply through proper channel and submit “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer in format given in Application Form.
• The completed and signed application form with all necessary enclosures should be mailed to The Registrar, GUTS, Opp. Trauma Centre, Civil Hospital campus, Asarwa, Ahmedabad- 380016. An envelope containing the Application should be superscripted “Application for Fellowship in Abdominal Organ Transplatation”. Applications sent by Fax will not be entertained. OR Scanned copy Single PDF file (Including Application Form and Enclosure) of completed and signed application form with all necessary enclosures should be send by email on admission@guts.ac.in Important Note: If application is sent through email as mentioned above there is no need to submit hard copy by Registered/Speed Post/hand delivery
• Duly completed application form must be accompanied with a Demand Draft / Cheque payable at Ahmedabad for Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) drawn in favor of “Gujarat University of Transplantation Sciences, Ahmedabad”. Fees submitted with this form is not refundable in any case.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Applications received after the last date will be rejected, and no grounds for delay including postal delay will be entertained.
• All passport size photographs must be identical, snapped with front profile, showing full head, face, and shoulder and with both ears and taken without wearing any Cap/Hat/Head dress/ Sun glasses. Polaroid photos are not acceptable.
