Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency.
• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
• Apply through ERAS and participate in the NRMP Match.
• Submit a CV, personal statement, letters of recommendation, and supporting documents.
• Successfully complete interviews and credentialing requirements.

The Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine provides comprehensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of renal disorders in children. Fellows gain experience in managing acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis, and kidney transplantation. The curriculum integrates clinical excellence with research, quality improvement, and educational activities. Fellows work closely with multidisciplinary teams and participate in scholarly projects under the mentorship of expert faculty. Training at a nationally recognized children’s hospital ensures exposure to a diverse and complex patient population.
