The Neuromuscular Medicine and Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine is a combined ACGME-accredited Neuromuscular Medicine and UCNS-accredited Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology fellowship. The program provides comprehensive training in adult and pediatric neuromuscular disorders and electrophysiology, with clinical training at University of Colorado Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado. Fellows gain hands-on experience in EMG, single-fiber EMG, autonomic testing, neuromuscular ultrasound, gene therapy administration, and skin and muscle biopsy. The program also provides extensive research opportunities, including translational research and clinical trials, along with weekly clinical and EMG case reviews, research conferences, journal clubs, and neuropathology review conferences. Successful completion makes fellows eligible for certification examinations in Neuromuscular Medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology.
