Fellowship in Gynecological Oncology

1. International Medical Graduates must have a valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate.
2. International Medical Graduates must have graduated from an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited medical school within the last 5 years.
3. J-1 visa only; H visa applicants are not accepted.
4. Passing scores for United States Medical Licensing Examination Steps 1, 2, and 3 or Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination are required.

The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), in partnership with West Cancer Center, is a three-year advanced training program focused on comprehensive care and research in gynecologic oncology. UTHSC is a public academic health science institution focused on medical education, healthcare, research, and professional training, while West Cancer Center provides the clinical training environment. The fellowship combines dedicated research with clinical training in gynecologic malignancies, including diagnostic imaging and testing, genetic screening, chemotherapy, radiation and hormone therapies, and minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques. Fellows also receive multidisciplinary training with experts in gynecologic oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, urology, chemotherapy, intensive care, pathology, genetic counseling, and palliative care.

8. Selected applicants receive interview invitations by email.
9. Interviews are conducted according to the program's annual schedule.
