The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program is a 3-year ACGME-accredited fellowship focused on comprehensive management of cancers of the female reproductive organs and preparation of fellows for careers as academic physician-scientists and leaders in gynecologic oncology. The first year emphasizes basic science and translational research, while the second and third years focus on advanced clinical and surgical training with progressively increasing responsibility. Fellows train at University of Colorado Hospital and Denver Health Medical Center, participate in inpatient care, surgery, oncology clinics, teaching, and research, and may complete graduate-level coursework in biostatistics and molecular/cell biology.
