he Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is a 3-year ACGME-accredited advanced surgical training program designed for surgeons who have completed surgical residency and wish to specialize in cardiothoracic procedures. The program provides comprehensive training in adult cardiac surgery, general thoracic surgery, congenital cardiac surgery, endovascular surgery, heart and lung failure therapies, transplantation, and advanced surgical techniques. Fellows receive extensive operative and clinical experience through rotations across cardiac and thoracic surgery services, along with opportunities for research and academic development. The program aims to prepare future leaders in cardiothoracic surgery with expertise in complex cardiovascular and thoracic disease management.
