Fellowship Course in Cardiac Surgery

Applicant should have done MS (General Surgery) or equivalent, MUHS approved qualifications.

• Fellows shall be selected in a fair and non-discriminatory manner in accordance with the Equal Opportunities. The selection process will be approved MUHS guidelines.
• The candidate shall undertake multiple choice questions (MCQ) written examination of 100 marks. Selected candidates will be called for the interview.
• Examination paper for selection of candidates for Fellowship: Three sets of MCQ paper will be set by the committee of the faculties approved by MUHS & only one paper will be selected by random process on the day of examination. Evaluation of written examination conducted will be done by a committee of faculties appointed by MUHS.
• A panel of faculties constituted by MUHS shall conduct interview for selection of candidates. The number of candidate invited for interview shall be 3 times the number of available seats.
• Based on marks obtained in the written test and evaluation during interview, merit list for admission shall be prepared and displayed on the notice board and web site of MUHS.
• Successful candidates shall submit their original credentials and pay entire fee within 10 days of declaration of the merit list. Candidates who fail to comply with admission procedure shall automatically become ineligible and seat shall be offered to next candidate on merit list, who shall be required to join within 5 days of receipt of intimation.
