The Structural Heart Disease Fellowship at the University of Minnesota is a one-year, non-ACGME-accredited advanced fellowship focused on catheter-based treatment of structural heart and valvular diseases. Fellows receive comprehensive multidisciplinary training in evaluating patients and participating in transcatheter procedures, including aortic and mitral valve therapies, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral regurgitation repair, atrial and ventricular septal occlusion, and left atrial appendage interventions. The program also emphasizes procedural skills, patient care, research, and academic development.
