The Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship is a 1-year ACGME-accredited clinical fellowship designed to prepare cardiologists to manage patients with end-stage heart failure, heart transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support. Fellows receive broad clinical exposure to advanced heart failure management, ventricular assist devices, transplantation, cardiac imaging, endomyocardial biopsy, metabolic exercise testing, and cardiovascular genetics. The program also emphasizes evidence-based education and scholarly activity, with opportunities for clinical, translational, and basic science research in areas including heart failure physiology, LVAD and transplant outcomes, cardiac metabolism, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiac fibrosis
