Radiation Oncology residency

• Must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited medical school
• Must have completed required medical school clinical training
• Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for U.S. graduate medical education (GME)
• International Medical Graduates (IMGs) must have ECFMG certification
• Must have required USMLE examination scores for residency application
• Must be eligible for medical licensure/training authorization in the United States

The Radiation Oncology Residency Program at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is a comprehensive 4-year ACGME-accredited residency program that provides advanced training in the use of radiation therapy for the treatment of cancer patients. The program offers extensive clinical experience in radiation treatment planning, image-guided radiation therapy, external beam radiation, brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, proton therapy, and multidisciplinary cancer care. Residents work closely with medical oncologists, surgeons, physicists, and other specialists at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center while gaining opportunities in clinical research, innovation, and academic development. The program prepares graduates to become skilled, independent radiation oncologists capable of delivering evidence-based cancer care and pursuing careers in clinical practice, research, or academic medicine.
