Residents receive annual stipends according to postgraduate year (PGY) level under NYU Langone Health Graduate Medical Education policies.

Complete an MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized medical school.
Apply separately for and complete a PGY-1 internship year before beginning radiation oncology training.
Register through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service).
Submit required documents:
Apply through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
Applications are reviewed by the Radiation Oncology Residency Selection Committee.
Selected candidates receive interview invitations.
Applicants participate in interviews with faculty members and program leadership.
Final rankings are submitted through the NRMP Match process.
Matched applicants complete onboarding requirements and begin residency training following completion of their PGY-1 year.
