Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency Program

The Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine is a six-year ACGME-accredited residency program. The first three years combine general surgery and plastic surgery training, while the final three years focus exclusively on advanced plastic and reconstructive surgery. The program provides comprehensive exposure to areas such as craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, burn care, microsurgery, breast reconstruction, pediatric plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, and complex reconstruction, with progressive clinical and operative responsibility. The program offers 2 positions per year.

1. Register with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP)
2. Submit the residency application through either:

3. Submit all required application materials through the selected application system
4. The program reviews applications and selects candidates for interviews
5. Interviews are by invitation only
6. Participate in the interview process
7. Submit the applicant's rank list through NRMP
8. Final selection is conducted through the NRMP Match
9. The program offers 2 positions per year
