The Fellowship in Pediatric Urologic Surgery (Pediatric Urology Fellowship) at UC Irvine School of Medicine, in collaboration with Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), is an advanced two-year fellowship program designed to provide specialized training in the evaluation and surgical management of pediatric urologic disorders. The program offers comprehensive exposure to complex pediatric urologic conditions, including congenital urinary tract abnormalities, hypospadias, disorders of sexual development, neurogenic bladder, pediatric reconstructive surgery, and minimally invasive procedures. Fellows receive extensive hands-on clinical and operative training under expert faculty supervision, while participating in multidisciplinary pediatric care, surgical conferences, and academic activities. The fellowship also includes dedicated opportunities for clinical research and scholarly development, preparing graduates for independent practice and leadership roles in pediatric urologic surgery.
