The Pathology Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Memphis, provides comprehensive four-year training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Residents receive hands-on experience in diagnostic pathology and laboratory medicine through rotations in surgical pathology, cytopathology, hematopathology, dermatopathology, neuropathology, gastrointestinal and liver pathology, genitourinary pathology, pediatric pathology, microbiology, transfusion medicine, molecular pathology, and other subspecialties. The program combines clinical training with teaching, research, quality improvement, and elective opportunities, preparing residents for independent pathology practice or fellowship training.
