MS Orthopedics

1. Recognized MBBS degree as per NMC regulations.
2. Completion of internship on or before the specified counselling deadline.
3. Valid NEET-PG score with required percentile — 50th percentile for general category (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC, etc.) as per regulations.
4. Permanent or provisional medical registration with the NMC or State Medical Council.

The M.S. in Orthopaedics at Dr. Moopen’s Medical College, Wayanad is a rigorous three-year postgraduate residency designed to produce competent orthopaedic surgeons. The program is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences and approved by the National Medical Commission. Residents gain extensive clinical and surgical experience in trauma care, fracture management, joint reconstruction, arthroscopy, paediatric orthopaedic conditions, and musculoskeletal disease.
