Eligibility Criteria

MBBS (recognized), with necessary registration certificate.
Completed (or to complete) 1-year internship before the cut-off date defined for that admission cycle.
Qualify NEET PG and obtain required percentile/rank for PG counselling.
For “General” (open) category — usual minimum NEET-PG percentile as per NMC/Regulations. (As per the listing on Shiksha)
For reserved categories (OBC / SC / ST / PWD, if applicable) — respective quota rules apply, per counselling authority norms.

Minimum Education

The Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) is a government-run medical college in Yadapura, Chamarajanagar district, Karnataka, established in 2016.
The campus spans ~42 acres, with a teaching hospital attached — providing a broad range of clinical and surgical services, including obstetrics and gynecology among many specialties.
The MS – Obstetrics & Gynaecology program at CIMS is one of the PG specialties offered, with an intake capacity of 6 seats.
As a full-time postgraduate degree under RGUHS and recognized by NMC, the course aims to train qualified specialists in women’s health — covering antenatal care, obstetric surgeries (including cesarean, emergency obstetric care), gynecological surgery, maternal & fetal medicine, and general gynecological outpatient care.
