Fellowship of Neurocritical Care (FNCC)

1. Must have completed or be completing an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education–accredited residency in Neurology, Internal Medicine, Neurosurgery, or Emergency Medicine before July 1.
2. Must be board certified or board eligible in the completed residency specialty.
3. Must provide three letters of recommendation: from a supervisor, residency program director, and department chair.

The two-year Neurocritical Care Fellowship provides advanced training in the acute care of critically ill patients with neurological conditions. The program includes extensive training in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, critical care electroencephalography, multimodality monitoring, clinical research, advanced bedside ultrasound, airway management, vascular access, and percutaneous tracheostomy, with clinical exposure to stroke, neuro-oncology, status epilepticus, neuromuscular diseases, encephalopathies, spinal emergencies, trauma, and postoperative neurosurgical care.
